Suffolk Highways are planning to undertake major maintenance works to Rumseys Arch Bridge in Fressingfield (B1116) between 01/04/19 – 07/06/19 – see attached location plans (Maps 1 & 2 below).
To minimise disruption the work is going to be phased. The road at the site will be reduced to a single lane controlled by signals for the majority of the work.
Road closures for certain operations will be in place on the following dates;
20:00 Thursday 4th April 2019 -to- 06:00 Friday 5th April 2019
20:00 Friday 10th May 2019 -to- 06:00 Monday 13th May 2019
The purpose of this notice is to inform you that during the road closures the diversion route will be directing traffic in / around Stradbroke and there may be an increase in traffic while the works are in progress.
